Classes and Workshops:

At Sewing Connection we have a dedicated space where creativity and community can flourish. Our bright and welcoming studio has everything you might need to inspire your sewing journey.

Sewing Classes:

The ‘make what you want’ sessions are held on Tuesday and Wednesday .

They are suitable for all abilities, you can work at your own pace, without pressure, and with our expert tuition. The classes are ongoing throughout the year, you can start at any time subject to availability.

Sewing for Charity: Fridays

For years, we have been committed to creating items for local causes and charities. We bring together groups of volunteer makers to produce sewn and knitted items that are needed for charities, hospitals and hospices.

We  make a range of items including syringe driver and drainage bags, bonding hearts, mastectomy heart cushions and  personal effects bags. We also knit and crochet twiddle muffs, which are used for people with dementia.

 We recognize the significant impact that sewing for good causes can have on individuals, promoting a sense of achievement while producing practical and meaningful items.
